Giant Leda Gang Mower

Giant Leda Gang Mowers are the perfect choice for cutting large areas of rough grassland.

The Lloyds Giant Leda is perfect for grass that is cut infrequently and requires a robust, heavy-duty machine such as golf surrounds and rough, school playing fields, airfields, and other large grasslands.

The cutting cylinders are 254mm in diameter, 760mm wide and can be configured as in anything from 3 (trio) up to 9 units wide.

The cutting cylinders are forged from high carbon chromium steel for ultimate durability and cutting edge retention. The bottom knife is forged from the same high carbon steel and screwed to a heavy duty steel bar to ensure maximum rigidity. Leda unit wheels, gear trains and cutting cylinders all run on the roller bearings to give a very smooth action and long life. The height of the unit rear roller is set at each end on a notched bracket so that the settings can be positively equalised for a level cutting height across the width of the unit.

The Leda Giant is fitted with a 6-blade cutting cylinder and a choice of with cast wheels (480mm diameter) or pneumatic wheels (508mm diameter).
